Five luxurious Safari lodges, Party Barn, Cedar Wood Hot Tub and separate accommodation for the retreat organiser, are all at your disposal.
Stunning Setting
Longlands is hidden in a secret valley in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the North Devon coast and the western border of Exmoor National Park. It’s 17 acres of beautiful grounds include a private boating & fishing lake, meadows, ancient woods, streams and hills.
Get Close to Nature
Paddle around the island. Chill out on the jetty. Watch the swallows chase dragonflies. Hang out in a hammock. Watch the sunset over the sea. Spot a shooting star. Enjoy a Woodland Wallow – our equivalent of Forest Bathing!
Our Luxurious Lodges
Fully equipped, beautifully furnished, every detail considered, nothing overlooked and everything included!
Each lodge has a King Bedroom, a double cabin bed, a twin bedroom, an ensuite showroom, a separate washroom with loo & basin, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area, dining area, covered deck and wood burning stove.

Everything Included
From firewood to foil, coffee to conditioner, herbal tea to hand wash, bath towels to bin bags, lemons to loo paper: everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible has been included.
Gather Together
With two 4m long oak tables there’s plenty of space for everyone to gather together in our Party Barn. It has its own working kitchen, including dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and its own wood burning stove.
Listen & Learn
Equipped with a sound system, projector and screen it is perfect for talks, lectures or discussions.
Dim the lights, light the candles, lose yourself in the conversation
Stay Warm & Dry
Our heated Pavilion provides shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. The sides can be removed to really immerse you in the surrounding wild flower meadow.
Plenty of Space
With 60 square metres of internal space there is room for 20 pupils plus and instructor.
Hot Tub Relaxation
Our cedar wood hot tub sits on its own deck, overlooking the lake and out to the setting sun. The hot tub can seat up to 6 at a time, and has its own changing room and outdoor shower. We provide natural aromatherapy bathroom products, towels, and fruited iced water and acrylic glasses.
Enjoy Your Own Space
The retreat organiser will have use of the spare room in the main house for the duration of the retreat. It is has a King bed, an ensuite shower and loo, plus a desk and wifi access. Double doors lead directly into the garden so the room can be accessed directly without need to go through the main house. Take time out . Recharge your batteries. Prepare for the day ahead.
Nutritious & Delicious
We’ll provide a healthy and energising menu, made from locally grown produce, and as much as possible from our very own kitchen garden.
Special Dietary Requirements
We can cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, even diary free diets, if required.
Something to Drink?
We can also provide a range of Seedlip non-alcoholic Spirits with Luscombe mixers, and a selection of wines, beers and ciders. Juices or Fruited waters will be available with every meal as will coffee, tea and a range of herbal teas.
The Best Beach in Britain
We are just 20 minutes from Woolacombe with it 3.5 miles of golden sands. Perfect for surfing, body boarding, beach runs and splashing in the surf. There are another 16 beaches in easy reach of Longlands if you want to explore some of the more secret ones!
Exmoor National Park
The rather magical and mysterious Exmoor National Park is right on our doorstep. Perfect for coastal and woodland walks, wildlife spotting and leaving the world behind.
Get Active!
With both the coast and Exmoor on our doorstep there are no end of sea, coast or land activities available. We can organise SUPing, Surfing, Kayaking, Coasteering, or Horse Riding, along with transport, should you need it.
Stretch, Focus, Breathe
Yoga, pilates, mindfulness or meditation….we can organise a variety of classes for you to add to your programme should you wish.
