So many Glamping adventures…
Our Adventure Booklet is our ‘bible’ on the many adventures that have been tried, tested and got the ‘thumbs up’! In it you’ll find tips on the best beaches, where to climb coastal paths, who to book a hack on a horse with, and even where to meet the Beast of Exmoor, if you’re brave enough!

Get up and Go!
There are so many things to do whilst on holiday in North Devon. Read all about our recommendations on where to surf and who with, coasteering, abseiling, kayaking, SUP and more!
Day tripping…
Come rain or shine… we have some excellent recommendations for days out. Escape to Lundy Island, journey from an Exmoor stream to the Atlantic Ocean, explore dungeon labyrinths and even spy on bats!

A more sedate pace
For those that are a little less mobile, or prefer a more gentle pace, why not take a carriage ride, go steaming at Woody Bay Station or experience a unique Victorian Cliff Railway. We also have 2 Lodges here at Longlands which you can park outside of, and with a flat path and no steps.
The very best beaches!
Build a towering sandcastle, splash in the waves, collect sea shells, hunt for sea glass, explore rock pools and walk on golden sands. All this and more with our guide to the very best beaches in North Devon.

Stride, stroll or saunter on a local walk
With our guide to local walks choose where to ramble according to your mood. Climb a path or round a corner and explore Longlands. Or go further afield and head to the coast, look out to sea, spot a seal and take a cooling dip at a secret beach.
For the green fingered gardeners
Muse over sculptures at Broomhill, admire the beautiful Palladian Castle Hill, relax at RHS Rosemoor and discover Marwood Hill bog gardens.

Local towns and villages…
Discover the timeless village of Clovelly. Catch the ferry to the Elizabethan fishing village of Appledore. Enjoy the delights of Dulverton in the heart of Exmoor. Explore Dunster Castle and it’s medieval village.
Things to do with the dog!
Catch a frisbee. Chase a ball. Meet new friends. Dive into the surf. Get wet and muddy. Enjoy long walks and great views!
