Watch the sun set on the sea or the stars twinkling in the night sky on your decking, or the weather racing up the valley. We have 17 acres of beautiful rolling countryside which is part of the North Devon Coast National Landscape on the western border of Exmoor National Park. There are few sites that can rival our stunning location and incredible views.

The large deck area at the front of the lodge has a sofa, table and chairs so you can sit back and enjoy the amazing views over the lake and valley, down to the sea in the day, and the star filled sky at night. The lodges look out onto one of the few Dark Sky Reserves in the world. We even provide books to help identify the constellations!

There is an even better view from the BBQ platform! Each lodge has its own private BBQ area to the right and above the lodge. There you will find a Kadai fire bowl for BBQing and a bench from which to enjoy the view, plus picnic table and in the lodge there are BBQing tools. Charcoal and Marshmallows are available from the Larder shop and BBQ baskets can be ordered from the menu.
