Arrival

Please advise us of your intended arrival time and update us en-route. Your lodge may not be ready until 4pm but if we are ahead of schedule we will let you know when you call on leaving the M5. Please ensure you plan your journey to arrive no later than 7pm as we need time to show you how everything works.

When you arrive please come down to the Farmhouse and we will show you to your lodge. You can drive down to your lodge to unpack, but we then ask that you park your car in our designated car park area.

Departure

Guests are requested to vacate their lodge by 10am on the date of their departure, having washed up, tidied and returned all furniture & fittings to their original positions. We also ask all guests to strip their beds as it saves enormous amounts of time and ensures that we don’t launder clean linen unnecessarily

Cancellation

If you cancel within 8 weeks of your arrival date we will endeavour to re-let your lodge. If we are unable to do so, then we regret that we will be unable to refund any monies paid. Should you cancel prior to this date, we will refund any monies paid, less your deposit, or reschedule your stay for another date. An administration fee of £50 will be charged in this instance. We recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance cover.

In the event that we need to cancel your holiday we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid to us, by you, within 14 days of notifying you.

Visitors

Day visitors are welcome. Please inform us of their arrival in advance so we can agree parking arrangements. We also need their contact details, should we, in the case of an emergency, need to know who is on site. All visitors must leave the site by 10pm.

Dogs

We are happy to welcome 2 dogs per lodge. Dogs must be kept under control and on leads at all times around the lodges and near the shop. We have cats, free range chickens and ducks. Dogs must not be left unsupervised in the lodges. We charge a £25 supplement per dog and provide a bed, towels and bowls for your dog during your stay. Please clean up after your dog. Bins are provided in the storage area below the lodge.

Noise

We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm and before 8am, in consideration of others. You are staying in a canvas lodge and noise will carry! Please use headphones if you wish to listen to music or any other device.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted at anytime within the lodge or on the decks. Please do not leave any lit candles, lanterns or fires unattended.
