What has changed at Longlands due to the Coronavirus?

We have had to remove various items from the Lodges such as games and books, so please do bring your own. We have reviewed check-in and check-out times in order that we can increase the cleaning levels – these are now 5pm check in and 9am check out. We have purchased a “fogging” machine to make sure that all areas are disinfected. Otherwise, apart from improvements during the lockdown, we are still the same Longlands.

Can I make a booking for this year or 2023 – and how do I do that?

There are three ways to book with us for 2022 & 2023.

Our calendars on this website are fully up to date making it easy to choose your dates and book online.

If you have any questions before you book you can email [email protected] and we’ll come back to you just as soon as we can. We can then complete your booking with you online.

Or call the office on 01271 882004 to discuss your requirements and book over the phone. It’s always great to talk through holiday dates and special celebratory plans!

What happens if I test positive for Covid 19 just before my holiday at Longlands?

We’re a small business and as such, to cover both our guests and ourselves, we strongly recommend taking out UK holiday travel insurance to protect you against the loss of your holiday.

Should one person test positive for Covid 19, then the rest of the party/family can still come.

If the whole party/family are unable to travel due to restrictions, we’ll require a positive PCR test(s), then we’ll do our absolute best to re-book. If the lodge or barn is re-booked we’ll issue a full refund. If, due to time allowance (ie 1 day), we cannot re-book your property we’ll be unable to refund.

We recommend buying travel insurance for your holiday.
