1. Gaze at Spectacular Sunsets & Star filled Skies
April, May and September are some of the best months to enjoy an amazing light display from Mother Nature, as she paints the sky, orange, red, and pink. And the stars are so bright you think you can reach out and touch them. We overlook one of the first dark sky reserves in the world!
2. Chill out on the Jetty
Lie back on in the Adirondacks and enjoy watch the fish rise and create ripples on the surface of the lake. Float around the island in a boat. Dangle a line and catch your supper. The taste of Rainbow Trout cooked over the BBQ is hard to beat.
3. Take a Soak in our Cedar Wood Hot Tub
Immerse yourself in the warm waters of our hot tub. Positioned on its very own deck above the lake, it has views out across the valley and towards the sea and setting sun. It even has its very own changing room and outdoor shower. We provide towels, fruited iced water, glasses and Mary’s Shed natural aromatherapy products.

4. Pamper Yourself!
Enjoy a some blissful indulgence in the form of a deep tissue massage, reflexology, reiki or perhaps an Indian head massage.

5. Curl up in front of the fire
Get lost in a book or enjoy a game of Scrabble. Our LED lights will ensure you have plenty of light to see even on the darkest evening! We have overhead lights and a reading lamp right beside the sofa. The wood burning stove will ensure you are toastie warm in your lodge regardless of the weather outside. Use the oven compartment to heat up lasagnes or cottage pies from our Larder Menu, or cook on the top as you would on a hob.
6. Snuggle down & enjoy a refreshing night’s sleep
Nearly every single one of our guests comments on how comfortable our beds are. Many say they have enjoy their best night’s sleep with us. The secret is the layers of cosiness we add to the mattress plus our luxurious White Company Egyptian Cotton bed linen. We also provide hot water bottles & blankets, but hope you won’t need them.
7. Take a Walk & breathe in the fresh air

Freshly baked croissants, pasties and pies, scrumptious suppers and delicious desserts: Simply choose from our range of breakfast, picnic and evening meals. Mark your choices on an order form. Place in the Larder by 8pm No money needed! Just write your purchases on your clip board and settle the bill at the end. Simply Delicious made Deliciously Simple!
10. Bring the Dogs!
