The location, facilities and lodges are luxurious, romantic, child and dog friendly!
Whilst the lodges offer all the expected practical items - they never compromise on the allure... beautiful bathroom, separate shower room, 3 bedrooms, kitchen / dining and lounge facilities - the feel of the place is very special. It's the little touches we liked... the stylish decor, fresh tea and coffee, fine linens, fluffy pillows, thick feathery duvets, and warm blankets / cushions for watching the stars!
Bella is warm and welcoming but leaves you to enjoy your own space, but we definitely made the right choice by opting for some of her delicious meals from the Longlands Larder - the children's favourite was chilli con carne followed by chocolate torte, raspberries, and natural yogurt.
You also can't beat a warm morning shower followed by cooking your own breakfast on the stove......
Longlands has it all - from woodland walks with our dog, rowing on the fishing lake with our 3 children, and its location is perfect for getting around the area. Getting out and about we enjoyed many beach days and one of Bella's suggestions - Paddle Boarding lessons at Putsborough beach.
